Using Old Barney as Windows Wallpaper

You can save Old Barney above, or any other Web graphic as Windows wallpaper. Just follow the short process below.

  1. Click on the above graphic with your right mouse bottom

  2. A menu will appear.

  3. If you're using Netscape, click on "Set As Wallpaper"
    If you're using Internet Explorer, click on "Set As Desktop Wallpaper"

  4. The selected graphic becomes your default Windows wallpaper

  5. The wallpaper's file name is C:\WIN95\NetscapeWallpaper.bmp
If at some point you repeat the process of saving a Web graphics to wallpaper, you will overwrite Old Barney. To make the wallpaper permanently available, rename the file using Windows 3.1 file manage or Windows95 Explorer.
